"St. John the Evangelist" by Bro. Ryan Flynn is portrayed in old age, reading and studying the word of God. On the table, the chalice, one of the traditional symbols of the saint, is placed next to the grapes with symbolizes his relationship to Christ. Further symbolism can be found in the design of the curtains, candles, floor and working tools.
Bro. Ryan Flynn painted this portrait along with Saint John the Baptist to adorn the Nashua, NH Masonic Temple.
The 20" x 16" is limited to 250 signed and numbered prints and the first batch of prints are scheduled to be shipped in the first week of December.
